The last 48 hours...
Tuesday Afternoon:
Went to Lake O' The Woods
Spent a relaxing afternoon and evening reading and watching old movies.
Jon and I had our feet prompted on the same chair, his chair balanced on the back legs as usual. I stand up to stretch, thereby removing my weight from the other chair. Jon's chair came down and he wondered why it didn't thump on the floor. My foot is healing nicely.
Wednesday Morning:
Breakfast of turkey bacon, cinnamon raisin toast w/strawberry jam and chocolate milk. Yum!
Played games, drove to Tyler and got our fraser Christmas tree. Snowflakes actually fell as Jon was strapping it to the top of the car. You know you're a Texan when you squeal over 4 or 5 large snowflakes floating to the ground.
Got back to the cabin and played more games.
Loaded up the car and came home a bit late.
Electricity went out. Very cold in the house. Flipped breaker, blew again. Gave up after four tries. Rented hotel. Loaded the car up again.
Went to bed approx. 1 am.
Thursday Morning:
Got up 8:30am, ate continintal breakfast. Yuck.
Mama brought me home, went back and got Pops, went to the doctor. Got the word for emergency dialysis. Will be going in to Baylor 6:30am for surgery and will be staying for five days.
Please keep praying for my dad and all of us.

I'll be praying for your dad.
We got snow too. It was all on the cars, roofs, and dead leaves. You must live near here. We go to Tyler all the time and I think we pass the Lake O' Woods.
P.S. I heard a rumor it snows very nicely up in the Panhandle.
